Remember Karetto? Anyone? Well, after a long wait near the bottom of my priority list, it’s finally resurfaced as my top project. It feels nice to dust it off, especially because it’s already making me laugh again. I don’t know what it is with this manga. I just really enjoy Caret as a character.

That being said, progress will be slow. This is the largest single update I’ll have to do for the entire manga at over 50 pages, thanks to the way volume 1 isn’t really broken up into any meaningful chapters. The third and final portion of the volume will be just over 40 pages, but after volume 1 is complete, there will be shorter chapters I can work on like an ordinary manga beginning in volume 2.

(All of this I’ve explained before, but it was a couple of months ago, so no harm restating it)

Currently, I’ve translated 18 pages in. Cleaning and typesetting afterwards is going to be its own nightmare task, but I’m taking it one step at a time. I don’t think I’m going to singlemindedly focus on only this until it’s finished, either, or I’d have no output to speak of for another month at least. Just know it’s in the works.
